It's no secret how I feel about those dumb robins and their silly habit of migrating south for the winter when they could stay at home warm and safe in their cages with full food dishes. But since they do migrate, you'd think they'd at least have the sense to stay away until the weather gets warm again. But nooooooo. Yesterday there was a whole flock of them right outside the house, huddled in the tree branches with their feathers all fluffed up against the cold. What were they thinking? That some worms would just pop up out of the frozen ground and say "Eat me"? At least the worms have the sense to stay underground until spring comes. But those robins….sheesh!
